Review Standarts
Our main goal is to provide full and useful app reviews. Our authors strictly follow the rules: minimum 15 hours of the real app usage experience or gameplay, test on main Android and iOS versions, test on phones and tablets.

Twitch is an application that allows you to watch live broadcasts and stream various games. At first, Twitch was created for people who wanted to stream their game progress. But now users can select “Just chatting” option, where streamers talk to their audience. For now, more than 50 million people have downloaded the application on their devices. You can download Twitch latest version on iOS and Android devices. You can also access twitch from any Internet browser.

Functionality – 5/5

Twitch is an application that allows you to watch or stream games. If you are a viewer, you can communicate with other people who watch the Live stream by writing to them in chat. After you start the app, you will see a few sections at the bottom of your screen. The first section is called “Following” section. There you will see all the channels you follow. In the “Discover” section you will be able to find more streamers. Twitch will recommend your new channels. The recommendation list is based on your interests. The next section is called “Browse”. There you can find the channel you like or watch the available categories. The app shows you many games that are being streamed (Dota 2, fortnite, Minecraft, overwatch, and others). It also shows you have many people are currently watching the stream of a certain game. If you tap on your profile picture that is located on the top right of your screen, you will see your profile. There you can tap the “Go Live” button and start streaming with the help of your phone. You can also see your videos, clips, and information.

Design – 5/5

The design of the application is straightforward. There are a few sections, and they are all sorted. The text is clearly visible, and the icons are highlighted. Twitch uses white and purple colors. You will get used to the interface right after you start the application. If you use the application at night, you can enable the Dark Mode interface.

Usability – 3/5

The application works nice, but there are some issues that may irritate you. For example, you will see the same advertisement every 10 minutes. The quality of the video may be bad too. It does not matter whether you select 720p or 1080p, the image will still be blurred.

Cross-platform use – 5/5

Twitch is a cross-platform application, which means you can login into your account from any device. For example, you can watch your favourite channel or stream with the help of any iOS and Android device. The features remain the same.

In-app purchases

You can buy Bits with the help of the Twitch app. Bits are the Twitch currency, which you can spend. For example, if you want to send some money to your favourite Twitch streamer, buy Bits and send them to him! In addition, there are some ads. But the application is free to use.

The Bottom Line

Twitch is a free application that allows people to stream their favourite games or watch streams of other people. You can also communicate with others with the help of the Twitch chat. You can download Twitch for free.
