Regions Bank Review
Regions Mobile is the official client for Regions Bank services. If you have an account in this bank, download Regions Mobile for iOS or Android and access its online services whenever and wherever you may need that!
As one of the leading American banks, Regions offers a wide specter of client-oriented services, and most of them are available through the app. With it you can check your balance, get notified of transfers, send funds, set up recurring payments, pay invoices, set up your cards and so on. Its secondary features include finding ATMs and offices, contacting the support, or scheduling appointments with bank managers.
Frankly speaking, it reminds of a stab on some abandoned website that now is available for sale; the sections look like lists of keywords on these sites, made just to show that it’s no site at all. As for pages, they remind of 404 pages, telling you that these aren’t the pages you’re looking for. After you overcome this feeling, the app becomes more friendly. But first, it gets you perplexed.
Despite strange designers’ solutions, the app can be figured out quickly. With it you can quickly enter the section you need to pay your bills, check whether you have received your funds, manage your deposits, lock cards if necessary, and so on. Zelle is supported for private transfers. After each successful transfer you get notified about it.
If the app doesn’t give you what you need (cash or consultation), you can use its built-in map to find the nearest office or ATM by Regions Bank. The app allows you to contact the manager and schedule an appointment in the office most suitable for you. With it you can also order checks. Anyway, more and more operations each year don’t require a visit at all.
The app is available 24/7, though there have been reported issues in Summer 2018 and sometimes later. As for security, you can use two-factor authentication or protect your account with biometrical data. The app supports both fingerprint and face ID.
Cross-Platform Use 4/5
The mobile app by Regions Bank is available for major platforms, that is, iOS and Android. On other platforms users can access their personal cabinets via the web interface. If you have a choice, we recommend using Android app, as its rating is 4/5, while on App Store it’s just 2/5. Though the rating got too low because of issues reported in 2018, chances are they may return.
Despite the app is all about purchases, payments and transfers, the app itself is free (or rather Regions Bank customers pay for its development and support with each fee they are charged). Even the opposite: you can get rewarded with greater discounts and exclusive offers for using this app.
The Bottom Line
If you are a Regions Bank customer, this app is a must for accessing your account 24/7. With it you control your account fully – at least, in theory. The app can experience issues with connection, being unable to contact the server; but in 2019 these situations are rare. Anyway, there is no alternative app for Regions Bank.Collapse
If you need to control your account any time from any place, you’ll need to download Regions Mobile Bank app… and pray it will connect.
Pros : Lets you fully control your Regions Bank account;
Functions 24/7 (at least in theory);
Compatible with both iOS and Android.
Cons : Issues reported (especially with iOS version);
The app is strangely designed.
