Microsoft Outlook Review
Have you ever thought about an email app to gather all your mailing accounts in one place? Here’s the solution called Microsoft Outlook. Even though its desktop tribesman has an unpleasant reputation, I’ll try to explain why you need the Outlook app on your device in this Microsoft Outlook review.
Functionality – 5/5
Microsoft Outlook app is easy and flexible. Unlike the desktop Outlook, the mobile version’s functional kit is rather simple to get used to.
Free Microsoft Outlook app version includes up to 1TB storage for all your emails and sorts them automatically. Mark spam messages as ‘Other’ to ban them forever, customize the ‘Focused’ filter to receive only important emails, use an in-built calendar to create a timetable of upcoming events and meetings and set notifications. Get fast and simple access to all your mail accounts with maximum tools to read and reply quickly.
Design – 5/5
Like all Office apps, Microsoft Outlook follows the minimalistic and sophisticated design. The bright interface of the Microsoft Outlook app looks nice and pleasing.
The main navigation bar is located below. It includes Inbox, Search and Calendar buttons. To manage meetings and messages, use the customizable finger gestures. Schedule a meeting and share it quickly with your co-workers or family just in several swipes and taps.
Usability – 5/5
When you first open the Outlook app, you'll get a short explanation of the main features before setting up your accounts. You can add Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, iCloud, Google and Yahoo email accounts.
The feature that really highlights the Microsoft Outlook app from other email apps is the built-in calendar. It gives you quick access to your schedule without ever leaving the app.
Another major feature of the app is the Contacts section. It saves all incoming information about who sends you emails the most often, imports your phone contacts list and helps to find a needed contact quickly.
The last but not the least important feature is file section. Tap on the button to view all attachments associated with a particular person in your contact list to find a needed document fast.
Microsoft has done excellent work with the Outlook app. It provides more than emails receiving, it’s an amazing working tool to reply and stay updated on the go.
Cross-platform use – 5/5
The Outlook app can be also synced with the desktop version like all Office apps. Whether you use the app on Android or iOS, it will browse your inbox immediately, so you can proceed to reply on any of your devices.
For a proper Microsoft Outlook app work, make sure you have the last app version. The Outlook app also free for download in the App Store and Play Market. Check system requirements and get the latest Microsoft Outlook version on your device.
Like most of its desktop relatives, Microsoft Outlook requires a subscription to unlock more tools and storage. You can get the Office 365 Home for 9.99$ or Office 365 Personal for 6.99$. However, the app always sorts unnecessary messages like spam and ads into the Trash folder that cleans automatically, so I don’t think you will need more than 1TB for comfortable usage.
The Bottom Line
Microsoft Outlook works as good as it looks. Getting capacity from all of your mailing accounts, it fails rarely. In this app, the endless messages stream becomes easy to manage and process. View, edit, download and get attachments up to 50MB in one simple app.Collapse
Microsoft Outlook app is a great service for getting all your inbox at once. This app really works. It proceeds your incoming emails, sorts, and filters spams, focuses you on important messages, provides immediate access to calendar and contacts with never leaving the app. if you’re still looking for a free email app with a clear functional kit, you must definitely get Microsoft Outlook for your gadget.
