TeamViewer for Remote Control Review
TeamViewer is a remote control app that allows you to access different kinds of systems remotely. Download TeamViewer and access any of your computers with your smartphone.

Functionality — 5/5
TeamViewer’s main feature is the ability to access Windows, Mac and Linux systems remotely with the use of just your smartphone, but it has a lot of additional features like full keyboard functionality, sound and video transmission, and the ability to transfer files in both directions. TeamViewer also supports multiple monitors simultaneously, and it has very high security.
Design — 4/5
The app has a pretty simple design. Main functions are easily accessible, and you can bring up the keyboard by tapping twice at the bottom of the screen. You can manage all your computers and contacts from a single menu, and there are also instant messages to communicate with your friends and colleagues. But the mouse speed in the remote access mode could be higher because trying to drag a file from one side of the screen to the other can be a bit annoying.
Usability — 4.5/5
TeamViewer is very convenient, and you can control other devices remotely as if you were just working right on them. That may come in handy when you need to help your relatives with computer problems or download files from your working computer while at home. Any of those tasks can be done with a few taps on the screen, and the installation process is very simple.
You can encounter occasional problems with remote connection, but they are usually not persistent. And other than that, there are very few bugs at all. All in all, TeamViewer is a must have app for anyone working on two or more devices.
Cross-platform use — 4/5
Developed for PC originally, TeamViewer is now available for smartphones and tablets too. And while it can be a bit inconvenient to control a bigger screen with a smaller one, there are no serious problems with a mobile version of the app.
In-app purchases
The app is free for non-commercial use, but to use it commercially you have to purchase the so-called Business Plan option that is quite costly. So if you intend to use only for private purposes, don’t worry about it.
The Bottom Line
TeamViewer reviews don’t even need to list all the features the app has. After all, it’s one of the most popular and efficient apps in its niche, so if you need to control your computer remotely, it should definitely become your app of choice.
