Match Your iPhone with DualShock 4 Controllers
Good news for all Apple device owners! Now you can play PS4 games on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, using the wireless DualShock 4 controller. While the games that require controllers were always available for Apple devices, the experience has never been even close to PS4. Now PS4 games can be played via the PS4 Remote Play on iPad OS, iOS 13, tv OS 13. Later in October, the same feature will be available for macOS Catalina.
Officials about Remote Play
Anand Agarwal, the head of esports and peripherals marketing in Sony Interactive Entertainment Company, says that there are several requirements for iOS platform owners. For example, it requires the game to be compatible with the controller and the app and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. The app will not work for PS4 with the version of software older than 6.5. It has to be connected with iPhone 7, second-generation iPad with iOS12.1, or iPad 6. LAN cable connected to PS4 is another recommendation.
Will We Have all DualShock 4 Features on Apple?
Actually, no. Even with all these requirements, there is no guarantee that all controller’s functions will work. Some of them are simply not supported by Apple. They include vibration function, touchpad, headphone jack, and motion sensor. From time to time users will need to use on-screen controls to access Options, PS, or Share buttons. Do you think that the new option is worth a try?
