Recently, PUBG developers celebrated 1 billion downloads from the App Store and Google Play. Of course, they planned to roll out a global update to mark such a resounding achievement. The company announced the news on its official Twitter account, saying “Players, it's our turn to level up! PUBG MOBILE just hit 1 billion downloads worldwide! Stay tuned for an awesome new update.” We should mention that such a huge success was achieved after the Indian government banned the game within their country under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act.
The publisher has already confirmed that the new map, Karakin, is coming to mobile on April 7. You can already test this map in the PC version. The new map will fully replace Vikendi. The beta version (V1.3) is already available, and the testers report that it’s 2 square kilometers larger than the original Karakin. We also already know that it supports only the classic mode, which means only 64 players can take part in a match.
Are you waiting for the new map as much as we do? Do you expect to see any other features and content updates in PUBG Mobile? Which of them would you like to see the most? Let’s discuss it in the comments, and don’t hesitate to share the news with other PUBG fans.
