Stick War: Legacy Review
Stick War: Legacy is a mobile remake of a very popular 2D strategy game for browsers by Max Games Studios. In this title, you have to control the stickman army to resist powers of evil along with gold mining and upgrading of units. Download Stick War: Legacy for free for your iOS or Android devices to test your savvy and commander skills in medieval battle combats.

Graphics – 4/5
Stick War: Legacy game is not really about good graphics. The whole game looks like it was illustrated in Corel Draw vector shape editor in a couple of weeks. On the other hand, games about stickmen always were very simple, and that is where the charm is hidden. Schematic visuals don’t make gameplay less exciting.
Gameplay – 4.5/5
Don’t let the simple style to delude you! Stick War: Legacy gameplay quality is comparable to famous strategy games like Age of Empires and Total War. Of course, it’s not 3D, and all battles are much shorter, but it’s a mobile time killer after all!
There are several types of warriors under your command. Among them are knights with swords, spearmen, pikemen, archers, magicians, and even giants. All units have exciting upgrading systems. You can win or buy additional skins with perks to diversify battles. This feature is borrowed directly from the legendary Diablo RPG.
The main objective behind all battles is to destroy all enemies to capture obelisks and new lands. You can switch between units to give them specific commands or select groups of soldiers to plan collective attacks. Everything depends on your decisions, so be patient to win.
Besides the story mode, you can challenge yourself in endless Zombie mode. The gameplay of this mode is different as you have to defend yourself from crowds of dumb creatures that never end. It’s a good method to test your custom army properties.
Controls – 4.5/5
The test of the original browser game for this Stick War: Legacy review showed that this game was designed with a resource for the future. The fable 2D setting is perfect for touchscreen controls. The only problem may occur with switching among single units as they stratify quite often.
Replay Value – 5/5
All battles in Stick War: Legacy are rather uniform, but the elaborate system of commands and upgrades together with randomized enemy actions makes this game a highly replayable experience. Customize your army in a unique manner to conduct unique battle scenarios.
The Bottom Line
Stick War: Legacy is a perfect strategy game for quick single player battles and survival challenges on the go. Frequent updates provide endless opportunities for army customization and score braking in the endless zombie mode. Stickman universe has never been so immersive before.
