7 Little Words Review
7 Little Words is a fun word-guessing game by Blue Ox Family Games, the creators of Moxie and Red Herring. It offers hundreds of word puzzles in several levels of difficulty and dozens of exciting everyday topics. The masterfully created questions will entertain you no matter where you go. You can download 7 Little Words for iOS and Android on App Store and Google Play for free.
Graphics – 5/5
7 Little Words game has a blue-and-white app-like interface with all levels divided into sections. You just have to scroll and swipe the list of puzzle packs to pick up one and play. Every puzzle includes a board with parts of words so that you could see all the options.
Gameplay – 5/5
7 Little Words gameplay is a reinvented classic crossword game. Instead of mixing up multiple questions on a cumbersome board, developers decided to limit every puzzle with 7 words. As a result, you can see all the questions and solution options on the board. The questions are usually concise and sound like “very wealthy person” or “the outside of a burrito.” Of course, it’s only the entry-level difficulty. You can play over 10,000 levels, which are over 70,000 questions! The fun thing is that titles of puzzles usually don’t really mean a thing. For example, questions in the Apple Pie level have nothing in common with pies! Additional packs are available in UK and US English, Spanish, and Australian English, so that you could choose the best option.
Controls – 5/5
To solve riddles, you have to guess answers and put them together using the particles on the board below questions. It’s very easy to learn, and every set will take you only several minutes to solve. You can easily erase and edit the answer or press the lightbulb button to get a clue about the correct answer.
Replay Value – 5/5
The free-to-play 7 Little Words version includes 25 free levels of different difficulty. But don’t be sad, because 2 new puzzles are available for you every day. If you’re not enough with that, you can purchase extra 50-puzzle packages for $0.99 each. You can also pay the annual subscription fee to play the entire catalog. The free puzzles that you get every day don’t repeat the ones from paid packs. At least it hasn’t happened during 2-week testing for this 7 Little Words review.
The Bottom Line
7 Little Words is a brand new look at the crosswords game that happens to be much more addictive and replayable. Forget about frustration when the page has blank spaces. With 7 Little Words puzzle game, you will solve everything much faster. It’s a perfect time-killer for any occasion when you have nothing else to do.
